On Wednesday (October 15), the 37-year-old actress took to Instagram to share images of the scratches and marks on her car’s paintwork with her 7.5 million followers. Alongside the photos, she didn’t hold back, using some strong words to call out the person responsible for the attack.

In the short clip, shared to her Instagram stories, Michelle pointed to a long scratch on her car door, writing: “Hope the person who did this felt better bout themselves afterwards [thumb up emoji] scruffs.”

She then filmed herself sitting inside the car, adding: “Smiling on the outside, screaming on the inside, working out how not to let it ruin my day. Why though??”

This incident comes shortly after news broke that Michelle led BBC series Ten Pound Poms has been cancelled and will not be returning for a third season, the Mirror reports.

However an exclusive source told OK! that, while the actress is naturally disappointed by the decision, she is looking at the silver lining. The former Coronation Street star Michelle is reportedly planning to make the most of having extra time at home, without the need for long-haul flights to the other side of the world for filming.

The extra downtime will allow her to enjoy more quality time with her husband Mark Wright and their daughter Palma.

The source explained: “With Michelle, her career is everything. She loves her family and absolutely loves being a mother, but that doesn’t mean she’s not gutted that Ten Pound Poms has been cancelled.”

“Despite that, she’s definitely found more balance since having Palma, and Mark is always so supportive, so she isn’t complaining,” the source claimed.

The damage to Michelle’s car comes just eight months after she and her husband, Mark, faced a terrifying home invasion at their £3.5 million Essex property. Four masked burglars broke into the house while the couple was still inside.

Mark, 38, yelled, causing the intruders to flee empty-handed in a getaway car. Thanks to their state of the art security system, police were alerted immediately and arrived at the mansion within minutes.

Both Mark and Michelle were reportedly relieved that no one was hurt, but the couple were described as being “very shaken up” by the ordeal.
