EastEnders adds mysterious new character to controversial Callum and Johnny plot
“Poor Lexi has had so many father figures in her life, it’s understandable that she can’t be bothered to be nice to Johnny,” says our Walford insider.
“She’s been through so much at such a young age, and finding out that Callum has moved on from her dad Ben is crushing.”
Attempting to win the youngster round, Johnny showers Lexi with gifts during an awkward meal – much to the displeasure of Billy.

Lexi’s grandfather firmly insists that Callum put a stop to Johnny spoiling Lexi, but when Callum sees how happy Lexi is when Johnny gets her concert tickets, he’s torn.
“Callum wants the best for Lexi and feels like she deserves all of the great things that Johnny can afford to give her,” our source explains.
“On the other hand, Billy doesn’t approve of the way that Johnny is buying his way into her heart. And if Callum doesn’t put a stop to it, he risks upsetting the Mitchells even more than he already has.”

Meanwhile, Callum has other concerns. Earlier in the week, Johnny meets up with an ex-client and decides to go into business with him.
After some positive encouragement from Callum, recently unemployed Johnny decides to explore an exciting new business opportunity with associate Tim. And when the guy arrives at the Vic for his meeting with Johnny, Elaine is immediately impressed!
However, it’s not all plain sailing, as when Callum arrives, he’s shocked to find that Tim isn’t exactly what he expected – and he warns Johnny about Tim’s possible ulterior motives…

Callum suspects that Tim could be interested in something other than business with Johnny, but Johnny chooses to go against Callum’s wishes and team up with Tim anyway. They become business partners, cementing Tim’s place in their lives.
With a new boyfriend and his eagerness to impress Lexi, will Johnny’s big break with Tim pay off? Or will going against Callum’s wishes cost him everything?
