Coronation Street return ‘sealed’ for Bradley Walsh as Danny Baldwin after 19 years
Coronation Street viewers are speculating that Bradley Walsh might be making a return to the iconic cobbles after nearly two decades.

Bradley became part of the long-standing ITV soap in 2004, portraying Danny Baldwin, the son of show legend Mike (Johnny Briggs). However, he was under the impression that Mike’s brother Harry was his father until Harry’s death.
Danny made quite an impact when he arrived in Weatherfield to assist his dad, who he initially believed was his ‘uncle’, in running Underworld. The character quickly became a hit with viewers and played a role in several major storylines.
From scandalous affairs, including one with his son’s girlfriend Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), to shady business transactions, Danny’s stint in Weatherfield was anything but dull.
However, in 2006, Bradley bid farewell to the cobbles after a two-year run. His character Danny left Weatherfield for a fresh start in Spain after selling his shares of the factory to Paul Connor (Sean Gallagher), reports the Daily Star.
Since then, Bradley has been a constant presence on our screens with appearances on shows like The Chase, Blankety Blank and Bradley and Barney: Breaking dad.
But now, 19 years after his last appearance on the soap, fans are speculating that Bradley could be making a comeback.
On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one user pondered: “Bradley Walsh said a few years back that he wouldn’t rule out a return to the street so what could happen if they brought his character back.”
Another fan chimed in: “I’d love to see him come back!” A third echoed the sentiment: “Same here even if for a short-term stint.”
Adding to the chorus, another viewer said: “His character has connections to the street (Adam is his half-brother) and I could see it being very popular.”
Bradley mused about a potential return to Coronation Street during a 2014 appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show.
“I don’t know, you know what it’s like, you never know the circumstances, you never know what’s going to happen, you never know what’s around the corner other than more corners.”
