Newcomer Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) has lost his temper at numerous characters during his short time on gaining himself a reputation of being a violent thug.

However, in upcoming scenes it is wife Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty) who is set to be on the receiving end of his terrifying wrath in a devastating domestic abuse story.

Mick is launched into a rage next week when  suggesting that Lou isn’t as loyal as he thinks.

Rattled by Kit’s comments, Mick confronts Lou in a foul mood.

When  and Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) find themselves unable to contact her, they begin to grow concerned for her welfare.

Having been on the receiving end of Mick’s violence before, Sean heads to the police station to change his statement about  last month, hoping it may help Lou.

Elsewhere, Lou nurses a head wound as she begs Mick to come home and talk, though her efforts are in vain as he speeds off furiously in his van.

In a bid to calm Mick down,Kit calls him, but the out of control handyman screams that everything is Kit’s fault before cutting the call and taking matters into his own hands.

With Mick out of control, Lou tells daughters Joanie and Shanice that they need to go away for a while, before summoning a cab.
