Coronation Street delivers the drama next week, as confirmed in our new video spoilers, with the long-awaited return of a cobbles favourite on the cards.

We are of course referring to Bethany Platt as star Lucy Fallon stages her comeback to the ITV soap.

If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the moment of her return then you needn’t wait until next week to see it as we’ve got you a snippet below!

But that’s not at all, as tensions brew over at the garage as Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) grows suspicious of Abi Webster (Sally Carman) after a discovery, with Carl (Jonathan Howard) taking shocking action to cover their tracks.

And Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) is on edge on a night out with Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) at a club, with Owen’s presence leaving him perturbed.

Monday September 29

Abi faces questions from a disgruntled Debbie, who wants to know why she had a keycard for a room at the Chariot Square Hotel.

The confrontation makes its way to the garage, where Abi struggles to come up with an explanation. Carl intervenes, claiming Debbie is confused and that’s why she’s struggling to remember Abi at the hotel.

Abi isn’t pleased, branding Carl’s lie ‘ruthless’.

Wednesday October 1

Theo encourages Todd to enjoy the night dancing with his friends at the club, though he’s not pleased when he spots him with James.

Owen confronts Theo, clearing having something to say, but it’s clear that Theo wants nothing to do with him as he makes his way towards the exit.

Friday October 3

Kit is in a good mood, which takes Jess by surprise. However, Jess has some news to break to Kit – news that will likely dampen his good form.

She brings him to the interview room for a chat with a suspect in a car theft chase. And the suspect is none other than Bethany!
