A BROOKSIDE legend’s real-life daughter is joining Hollyoaks Later AND the crossover – and she’ll be playing her mum’s daughter.

She will play party girl Esme in both the Brookside soap crossover AND the dark Hollyoaks Later spin-off.

Yasmin has filmed with Sue Johnston and John McArdle as her character Esme, who resides in Brookside Close, is the daughter of heritage Brookside character, Jacqui Dixon, played by Hollyoaks Actor, and Yasmin’s mum, Alex.

Viewers will see Esme saying goodbye to the Brookside residents as she heads to a Liverpool nightclub where she gets up to some fun with a few Chester teenagers.

Talking about her Hollyoaks appearance, Yasmin said: “I’ve absolutely loved being a part of the Brookside and Laters episodes.

“There has been such a nostalgic energy on set, and I’m really looking forward to seeing it all come together to celebrate 30 years of Hollyoaks.”

Yasmin Davies is currently filming season 3 of BAFTA nominated G’wed and recently finished working on a two-part story in Silent Witness with Emilia Fox.

She also played Suranne Jones’s daughter in Maryland. Yasmin is also about to start a BA course at the prestigious drama school RADA.
