The Coronation Street actress announced at the end of September that she had signed on the dotted line and is preparing for the launch of her debut tell-all autobiography.

Head and Heart: Break-ups, Breakdowns and Being Rosie is described as a “powerful, frank, and moving memoir” that details Helen’s journey from childhood up until the current day and the highs and lows, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Helen, who is most recognised for portraying Rosie Webster on Corrie, explained at the time: “I am so excited to share the news about my book with you. This has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time now, writing a book around motherhood and mental health and everything in between has been a goal of mine.

“In January 2024, I became extremely unwell. I was unable to work or look after my kids and I felt really powerless…but when I began to write down what I was experiencing, I found it helped. A lot of it didn’t make sense, but some of it did and from that, I wanted to create something positive. So here we are.”

With the publication scheduled for next year, Helen posted a new update revealing the book is now available for pre-order. Posting a snap of herself at her laptop crafting her memoir, she told her followers: “So I actually can’t believe I’m going to have my book in @waterstones in 2025.

“I poured my heart into my book, and writing a book about mental health has been something I’ve wanted to do for such a long time. I hope it’s a comfort to others. I also wanted my book to be funny, so I hope it makes you laugh too.”

She also revealed a snapshot of her “goal board for 2025” which stated: “Book – write book. Mental health book.”

This follows Helen’s previous statement, as she said: “Writing so honestly and openly about mental health and heartbreak has been really therapeutic for me, it was hard at times and it meant revisiting some painful moments in my life, but it feels such an achievement to have finished it.

“I’ve opened up on things I’ve never spoken about before. I’ve kept so much hidden until now. Head and Heart is real and raw and I’ve had to be brave, but I also think it will make you laugh – I don’t take myself too seriously and a lot of my life has been, well, a bit mad! Some of the situations I’ve got myself into over the years have been hilarious.”
