Helen Flanagan’s explosive new memoir promises full truth about her life – from love and motherhood to fame
Scott Sinclair is preparing for the release of Helen Flanagan’s upcoming book after she offered a glimpse of what readers can expect.

The former Coronation Street star recently announced that she is working on a candid memoir, promising a tell-all account of her life with no “airbrushing” of what really happened in her life. This has led to speculation that her former partner, footballer Scott Sinclair, could feature prominently in the book, particularly after her latest social media post.
Scott and Helen, who share three children – Matilda, 10, Delilah, seven, and Charlie, five – have appeared to maintain a friendly co-parenting relationship since their split in 2022 after 13 years together. Earlier this year, they were even reported to be co-parenting under the same roof, despite Helen previously admitting that they “don’t like each other.”
On Sunday, Helen shared a post from @pettycoparenting101 that read: “You can’t just go around calling your kids’ dad a b*****.” The message was accompanied by a meme of rapper Usher pulling a knowing expression, prompting fans to question whether tensions between the pair had resurfaced.
Last year, it emerged that Scott had been in a relationship with 34-year-old Lauren Davies, a long-time family friend, and had been for “several months.”
During a particularly difficult period, Scott reportedly even blocked Helen’s number, though the pair managed to put their differences aside in March to celebrate their son Charlie’s fourth birthday, the Mirror reports.
Reflecting on their relationship earlier this year, Helen said in April: “Don’t get me wrong, sometimes we still end up telling each other to f**k off. But we’ve managed to keep things quite nice and we’ve been fair to each other. It’s helped that our families get on and I have a good relationship with his mum.”
Helen’s new book was announced last week and is set for release in January, with pre-orders already available. The actress explained that it’s important for her to show who she truly is, rather than the version audiences first met when she debuts on out screens as 10-year-old Rosie Webster on Coronation Street.
“I’ve made mistakes, I’ve been hurt and I’ve had to rebuild from rock bottom, but I’ve also learned, grown and come out the other side a better, stronger person,” she said. “Telling my truth meant no hiding – no glossing over or airbrushing.”

Helen first appeared on Coronation Street in 2000, portraying Rosie Webster for 12 years. She later appeared in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, and the spin off I’m a Celebrity… South Africa. As well as staring in the thirteenth series of Celebs Go Dating – never really leaving the spotlight.
The star, who lives in Bolton, has now been diagnosed with ADHD and has also experience financial difficulties. Earlier this year, she received a six-month driving ban after twice failing to identify the driver of her car when it was recorded speeding.
This book is one of the newest titles from Mirror books, and Helen is set to open up about the highs and lows of public life in the eye – a move that has reportedly left some of her exes on edge.
