All Coronation Street spoilers for next week as revenge plot is enacted

While Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) is determined to help his daughter, Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) recover from her mental health crisis and eventual suicide attempt in Coronation Street, his wife Bernie Winter (Jane Hazelgrove) and her daughter Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) are preparing to take matters into their own hands.
Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) finds herself drawn into the machinations of Becky (Amy Cudden) and DI Costello (Daon Broni), while Lisa (Vicky Myers) remains oblivious to what’s going on.

Becky produces the evidence needed to free Betsy, while Lisa heads off to confront DI Costello over the arrest, who laments to Lisa that he was the reason Becky didn’t get in touch.
Costello later calls Becky and informs her that’s he played his part and now it’s her turn – she needs to disappear within a month. When Roy comes home to find Becky and Lisa looking a little too close for comfort on the couch, how will he react?
When DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) lets slip to Bernie and Gemma that Naomi (Melissa Batchelor) has a history of aggression, they begin to conspire to teach her a lesson, while Asha remains unreceptive to Dev’s efforts to help, leading to him admitting to Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) that he feels completely out of his depth.

Elsewhere on the Street, Theo is clearly uninterested as Pete (Andrew Hayden-Smith) continues to flirt with him, though he utterly rages when Pete calls him a drama queen, Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) returns a Halloween costume when she realises it’ll show her stoma, Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) is hit with further cruel social media messages and Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) worries about how hard George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) is working.

Gemma and Naomi enact their plot to cause Naomi to lose her rag and capture the resulting explosion on video. When Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) learns of their scheme, she calls Dev for help.
As Gemma rages at Naomi, she finally blows and Bernie hits record, just before Dev and Kit arrive. Face to face with his daughters tormentor, Dev blames Naomi squarely for Asha’s suicide attempt. When Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) shows Asha the video later, she’s absolutely mortified.
With Theo worried about money, Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) tells Todd about how Theo’s temper has severely damaged Gary Windass’ (Mikey North) business, who’s in damage-limitation mode. As Todd approaches, he’s mortified to realised Pete is the man he found in his flat with Theo.

Theo is seething when Gary tells him that the incident with Pete has hammered the final nail into the coffin as far as their working relationship goes, while Todd is terrified when Harry Platt spills a milkshake in Theo’s new care when he gives him and Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) a lift.
