Coronation Street fans spot worrying Lisa Swain future ‘clue’ in ‘2.0’ observation

Coronation Street fans have been left worried about Lisa Swain’s future after spotting a ‘clue’ that could lead to her being in a similar position to what she found herself in earlier this year.

Fans have been sharing their theories online after actress Vicky Myers, who made her debut in the role of the detective sergeant back in 2021, seemingly hinted that she was set to be involved in the upcoming Corrie and Emmerdale crossover.

Both of the ITV soaps offered a joint update last week, confirming that filming was officially underway for the one-off episode which will see the network’s beloved soaps come together for the first time.

The standalone episode, set to be dubbed ‘Corriedale’, will see the residents of Weatherfield join forces with their Yorkshire neighbours in an action-packed hour of drama to herald the start of the new soap power hour schedule, with each show screening 30-minute episodes every weekday – Emmerdale at 8pm, followed by Coronation Street at 8.30pm.

While details are a closely guarded secret, Vicky seemingly gave away what she’s up to at the moment, as she told the reporter on the red carpet she would be “on the train back to Leeds tomorrow” during an interview with the Metro at the 2025 Inside Soap Awards.

It’s left fans certain Lisa will be involved in the crossover plot, and a recent social media post has also got fans talking, as it’s from the team who worked with Corrie during the armed siege involving Lisa, Carla Connor and her murdered brother Rob Donovan.
