Bold & Beautiful Alum Ted King Pays Tribute to Robert Redford
We are saddened to report that the entertainment industry has lost one of its greatest today. Robert Redford, the iconic actor, director and producer, passed away on September 16th at 89. Chief executive of publicity Cindi Berger, from Rogers & Cowan PMK, “Robert Redford passed away on September 16, 2025, at his home at Sundance in the mountains of Utah, the place he loved, surrounded by those he loved. He will be missed greatly. The family requests privacy.”

Many within the industry have paid tribute to the award-winning star, including The Bold and the Beautiful alum Ted King (ex-Jack). The soap vet took to his official Instagram page to share from his various works and stated, “Towering above so many great professionals. Actor, director, philanthropist and Sundance Film Festival creator. Excellent at everything he touched.” He went on to express the role the star had during his youth and added, “An inspiration to me as a young kid with big dreams. Thank you Mr. Redford for an extraordinary life.”
With over 80 credits to his resume, the handsome actor will always be remembered for such film roles as Indecent Proposal, A River Runs Through It, The Electric Horseman, A Walk In the Woods and so many more. He also appeared in numerous series and was recognized for his work as a philanthropist.
